The agenda for the Event Safety & Security Summit (E3S) is now live, with over 20 sessions announced so far. E3S was set up last year by ILMC to showcase the latest ideas, innovation and learnings in event safety and security. The day is being produced in close collaboration with Chris Kemp (MOM Consultancy), the European Arenas Association (EAA), and other security companies and associations.
Panel topics include Protecting the Future of Live Events, which examines what initiatives are helping develop an international safety culture, and Learning Transferrable Lessons which considers operations from the World Cup to state visits by US presidents to learn lessons from each scenario. Meanwhile, Flexible solutions to in-work training looks at harmonising training standards across a whole organisation.
E3S also features a programme of dedicated presentations on topics including alternative approaches to high footfall screening, the threat to crowded spaces, mobile messaging in emergency communication , prioritizing risk to events, integrated safety & security planning, the crowd as participatory threat sensors, working with group psychology in emergencies, trends in behavioural detection and the revolution in event incident logging.
