The new MSc in Crowded Space Design, Management and Risk Analysis is launched in early January 2020.
Module One
The first module provides participants with the opportunity to explore the way in which scientific and psychosocial context effect the way in which we manage crowds and mitigate risk and how we can better apply our knowledge to this area. Past of the first workshop will take place at Murrayfield, the home of Scottish Rugby working with the team on challenges to their events.
Module Two
The second module will have a focus on design and how the theoretical concepts related to design are developed and overlaid in practice building from the identification of space to the finished event and all levels in between. It also faces into the perpetual challenges exploring solutions in practice.
